Catania Coast Italian, a Whisknladle Hospitality restaurant, is committed to making cataniasd.com accessible to people of all abilities. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our technical accessibility benchmark, and we are working to improve the usability of our website for people with disabilities.
What we are doing
We are actively improving our site, with a current focus on:
Text descriptions for images so screen reader users understand our photos and graphics.
Clear heading structure so the page can be navigated logically.
Keyboard access so the site can be used without a mouse, including a "Skip to main content" link.
Readable color contrast for text and important visual elements.
Third-party content
Some features are provided by third parties and are partly outside our control. In particular, online reservations are handled through OpenTable, and the accessibility of that booking window is maintained by OpenTable. We are happy to take reservations by phone as an alternative.
